Compact Antimicrobial Mouse Pad

The Targus AWE820GL is a small fabric mouse pad measuring 8.66 by 7.09 inches with a 1.3 mm profile. It suits users who want a cleaner tracking surface on tight desks or in mobile kits. The black rubber base keeps the pad from sliding during use.

Fits Tight Spaces and Travel Bags

The .05 inch thickness adds almost no height so it slips into a laptop sleeve without bulk. No adhesive or mounting hardware is needed; the anti-slip rubber bottom grips the desk on its own. Its small footprint frees desk space for a keyboard or notebook alongside the pad.

Consistent Glide Over Long Sessions

The low-friction fabric surface maintains smooth tracking during extended work periods. DefenseGuard antimicrobial protection is built into the material and does not wear off, so the surface stays cleaner for the life of the pad. The thin rubber base resists curling even after repeated rolling and transport.

Questions about this item

How long does the 1.3mm thick fabric surface stay smooth under daily all-day use?

The low-friction fabric is built for continuous gliding and the antimicrobial additive is integrated for the life of the pad, so the surface does not degrade from a topical coating wearing off.

Does the rubber base keep the 8.66 x 7.09 inch pad from sliding or heating up during extended sessions?

The anti-slip rubber bottom grips the desk firmly and the thin 0.05 inch profile adds no insulating layer, so the pad stays in place and does not trap heat.

What mouse sensor type is needed to track reliably on this fabric surface?

Any standard optical or laser mouse works on the fabric surface; no special sensor or calibration is required.
