Compatible Devices

The Targus AWV1287USZ tempered-glass protector fits the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Air and the 5th- and 6th-generation iPad. It also works on other capacitive touch surfaces such as iPhone and iPod Touch models. Buyers with larger tablets or non-capacitive screens cannot use this protector.

Capacitive Touch Limitation

The accessory relies on capacitive touch technology, so it only functions with devices that use that sensing method. Resistive, infrared or force-based touch panels will not register input through the glass. The 0.01-inch thickness maintains sensitivity on supported screens without adding noticeable bulk.

Protection Scope

Japanese Asahi glass provides impact-resistant, shatter-proof and anti-scratch defence for everyday handling. The oleo-phobic coating resists smudges and fingerprints while preserving high viewing clarity. It does not protect against deep bending forces, liquid ingress or damage to uncovered device edges.
