Designed for 14" business travel

The Targus Corporate Traveler briefcase fits notebooks and tablets up to 14 inches and is built for frequent flyers who need quick airport screening. Its checkpoint-friendly design opens flat so the device stays inside during TSA checks. A trolley strap secures the bag to rolling luggage for hands-free transit. The 1680D military-grade ballistic nylon shell resists water and daily wear.

Protection and organisation limits

SafePort x D3O side and drop protection absorbs impact but adds bulk that measures 16.00 by 12.50 by 6.00 inches and weighs 2.97 pounds. The zip-down workstation holds cards, pens and a key clip, yet the single main compartment may not suit users who carry large folders or multiple devices. No external quick-access pocket is described for items needed mid-flight.

Upgrade from basic sleeves

This briefcase replaces simple neoprene sleeves or soft messenger bags that lack structured impact protection and checkpoint convenience. The jump is worth it when daily travel involves security lines, overhead-bin shifts and the need to keep accessories organised in one place. Buyers who only move a laptop between home and office without flying will find the extra weight and size unnecessary.

Questions about this item

Which size should I choose for my 14-inch laptop?

The case unzips to lay completely flat, allowing the laptop to stay inside while it passes through the X-ray scanner.
