Targus 14" Zip-Thru Corporate Traveler Case

The Targus Zip-Thru 14" Corporate Traveler case is designed for professionals who need to clear airport security without removing their laptop. Its split design isolates the device on one side for clear X-ray scanning. Lightweight and durable 1680 denier nylon fabrication protects the notebook during transit. The patented SafePort Air Cushion System helps prevent drop damage.

Ideal for frequent flyers

This case suits travellers who prioritise speed at checkpoints and protection for a single 14" device. It is not suited for users carrying larger notebooks or those needing dedicated compartments for extensive accessories. Buyers who want more storage pockets or a trolley sleeve for rolling luggage should look at alternative designs.

Checkpoint-friendly split design

The defining specification is the zippered centre split that separates the laptop compartment for X-ray screening. This mechanism allows the bag to lay flat, isolating the computer on one side to meet security requirements. If your workflow does not involve regular airport travel, this feature adds bulk without benefit.

Questions about this item

Does the 1680 denier nylon need any special cleaning or treatment over time?

The ballistic nylon can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent; no special treatments or conditioners are required.

What is the first limit you hit when the case is packed full and carried all day?

The shoulder strap and handle are rated for the bag's normal load; exceeding the intended capacity puts stress on those attachment points first.

Does the SafePort Air Cushion System trap heat against the laptop during long trips?

The air-cushion pockets are open-cell foam that allows airflow, so the laptop vents normally while the case is closed.
