Universal USB-C docking station

The Targus DOCK190USZ is a USB-C universal DV4K docking station designed for professionals who need multiple high-resolution displays and expanded connectivity from a single cable. It works across Windows, Mac OS X, Android, Chrome OS and Ubuntu Linux platforms. The compact black chassis measures 6.80 by 3.80 by 1.60 inches and weighs 0.90 lbs. It includes a one-meter detachable USB-C host cable and power tips for major laptop brands.

Dual 4K video via DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0

The decisive specification is the video output capability: two DisplayPort 1.2a ports and two HDMI 2.0 ports support a single 5K or 4K monitor, or dual 4K UHD monitors at 4096 x 2160 resolution at 60 Hz with 24-bit colour. This allows a high-performance dual-monitor workstation without needing a discrete graphics card. The dock uses Alt Mode host compatibility, including Thunderbolt 3, to deliver this bandwidth.

Suits multi-monitor users needing 100W charging

This dock suits users who want dual 4K displays, gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (one fast-charging), one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio from one compact hub, while delivering up to 100W power delivery to the host laptop. Buyers who need more than two external monitors, or who require video outputs other than DisplayPort and HDMI, should look at something else.
