16-inch Laptop Chill Mat

The Targus PA248U5 is a 16-inch laptop chill mat designed for users who need extra cooling during extended sessions. Two integrated fans draw heat away from the device to help maintain performance. Rubber grips keep the laptop stable on the mat surface. The accessory is powered entirely through a USB connection.

Check USB port and laptop footprint

Verify that your laptop has an available USB port to power the fans via the included mini-USB cable. The mat measures 13.2 inches long by 9.4 inches wide, so confirm your device fits within that footprint. The unit adds 1.3 inches of height to your setup. No AC adapter is required for operation.

USB-powered fans and surface protection

The mini-USB cable draws power directly from the laptop, eliminating the need for a separate wall outlet. Two fans provide active airflow to reduce component temperatures. The mat also shields laps and desk surfaces from heat transfer. Rubber grips prevent the laptop from sliding during use.
