Fits Laptops Up to 16 Inches

The Targus PA248U5 chill mat supports laptops up to 16 inches and draws power from a USB-A port. Two built-in fans generate airflow to help prevent overheating during work or gaming sessions. Rubber grips on the surface keep the device stable on a desk or lap. The lightweight frame measures 3.5052 cm by 24.9936 cm by 34.798 cm and weighs 1.04 pounds.

Suited for USB-A Laptops Needing Basic Airflow

This pad suits users who want a simple, portable cooler powered directly by the laptop. It is not for machines that lack a USB-A port or require adjustable fan speeds. Buyers who need more than two fans or a powered hub should look elsewhere. The fixed height and single USB cable limit positioning options.

Dual-Fan Cooling Powered by One USB-A Port

The decisive specification is the pair of fans driven solely by the laptop USB-A connection. No external adapter is included, so the cooler adds no extra cable clutter. This design determines whether the pad matches your port availability and cooling expectations.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-A cable or the dual fans need replacement after extended daily use?

The unit draws power from a USB-A port and runs two built-in fans; no user-serviceable parts are listed, so the cable and fans are intended to last the product's lifetime.

What limits continuous cooling performance during long sessions?

Cooling capacity is fixed by the two fans powered through a single USB-A connection, so sustained loads are limited by that airflow and power budget.

How much noise and heat does the pad itself add when running all day?

Two fans operate from laptop USB power, producing a low background hum while moving air across the rubber-grip surface; the pad stays cool to the touch.
