Master pack of 25 serialized cable locks

This master pack delivers 25 Targus DEFCON SCL cable locks in a single case, each secured by a pre-set four-digit combination. The serialized design allows an IT administrator to manage all combinations through a password-protected portal, streamlining asset protection across a fleet of laptops.

Cut-resistant cable holds under sustained attack

Each lock uses a 6.5-foot galvanised steel cable reinforced with Kevlar to resist determined cutting attempts over extended periods. The 0.16-inch diameter cable loops around a fixed anchor point while the lock body secures to the device's security slot, maintaining a physical barrier that does not rely on keys.

Verify lock-slot compatibility before ordering

The package includes spacing washers and a security base-plate anchor to accommodate varying slot depths, but the lock only fits devices equipped with a standard security slot. Buyers whose hardware lacks this slot or who require individual retail packaging should look for alternative security solutions.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the Targus PA410S produce when securing a laptop all day?

The lock is a passive mechanical device with no moving electronics, so it generates no heat and makes no audible noise during continuous use.

What must the buyer already own for the 25 serialized locks to attach and function?

Each laptop needs a standard security lock slot; the pack includes spacing washers and a security base plate anchor for slots of different depths.

Will the 6.5 ft galvanized steel cable and pre-set combination work with older laptops that have shallower or deeper lock slots?

Yes, the supplied spacing washers adjust the fit for varying slot depths, and the 4 mm Kevlar reinforced cable loops around any fixed object.
