Three-Pack Webcam Covers

The Targus Spy Guard three-pack supplies black, white and grey sliding covers that adhere directly to a laptop bezel. Each cover uses a slim profile so the lid can close without a visible gap. The adhesive holds securely while the sliding mechanism opens and closes smoothly for video calls.

Physical Limits of Adhesive Mounting

The covers rely on a pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds to flat, clean surfaces on the display frame. Curved bezels, textured finishes or very thin borders may reduce contact area and long-term hold. Residue can remain if the cover is removed after extended use, so placement should be considered permanent for the device's life.

Replaces Tape and Permanent Stickers

This set replaces improvised solutions such as electrical tape, sticky notes or permanent opaque stickers that leave glue or damage the camera lens. The sliding shutter is worth the upgrade when daily video meetings demand quick, repeatable privacy toggling without fumbling for removable materials. It is not for users who need a hardware shutter built into the chassis or a lockable privacy filter.
