Commuter Case for 15.6" Laptops

The Targus Topload City Gear TCG460 is a laptop case built for daily commuting. It fits screens up to 15.6 inches and uses a Poly/PU construction in black. A built-in Dome Protection System adds shock-absorbing layers to dissipate pressure on the laptop and tablet compartments during transit. The design emphasises casual styling with organised storage for accessories.

Upgrade from Basic Sleeves

This case replaces simple sleeves or unpadded bags that lack structured protection. The jump is worth it when you carry a laptop and tablet together and need dedicated compartments with impact resistance. Zipped mesh pockets add visible organisation for cables and small items. It suits users who want a single bag for tech, notebooks and stationery without a bulky backpack.

Capacity for Daily Essentials

The laptop compartment measures 15.24" x .98" x 10.43" and accommodates devices within that footprint. Overall dimensions are 16.93" x 7.48" x 12.20" at a weight of 2.65 lbs. It comfortably handles a laptop, tablet, notebook and stationery in designated spaces. It runs out of room for larger power bricks, multiple bulky peripherals or overnight clothing.

Questions about this item

Will a 15.6-inch laptop that is 15.24 inches wide and 0.98 inches thick fit in the padded compartment?

The laptop compartment measures 15.24 x 0.98 x 10.43 inches, so a 15.6-inch device within those dimensions will fit.

How do I secure the laptop inside the Dome Protection System so it does not shift during a commute?

Place the laptop in the dedicated padded sleeve and close the hook-and-loop strap; the shock-absorbing layers surround the device on all sides.

The bag is made of Poly/PU — how should I clean it when it gets dirty from daily travel?

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or harsh chemicals to preserve the water-resistant coating.
