Carry Options

The Targus TSS913 is a 14-inch vertical slipcase designed for users who want a single case that works three ways. It carries as a shoulder bag with the removable strap, as a briefcase with the hideaway handles, or as a sleeve when both are tucked away. The durable neoprene shell provides cushioned protection for daily transport.

Build Integration

The front zippered accessory pocket holds a charger and small items, keeping them separate from the device compartment. Its sleek and slim profile allows the case to slip easily into a larger bag when used as a sleeve. An integrated ID holder simplifies identification during travel or in shared workspaces.

Sustained Use

Weighing 0.81 lbs, the case adds minimal burden during extended carry periods. The neoprene shell maintains its cushioning properties over time to protect the laptop compartment measuring 9.60 by 13.90 inches. Retracting handles and the removable strap store flat, preventing snags or bulk when the case is nested inside another bag.

Questions about this item

How much weight does the 0.81 lb slipcase add to a daily commute?

The slipcase itself weighs 0.81 lbs, so the total load depends on the laptop and accessories you place inside it.

Does the neoprene shell trap heat when a 14" laptop runs all day inside the case?

The neoprene shell provides cushioned protection but is not ventilated; heat dissipation relies on the laptop's own cooling system while the case is closed.

Can the TSS913 carry a charger without a separate pouch?

Yes, a front zippered accessory pocket is built in for a charger and small items.
