Portable thermal printer for mobile professionals

The TATTMUSE A285M is a compact thermal receipt printer designed for users who need to produce documents, contracts or boarding passes while away from a desk. It weighs 1.5 lb and measures 10.39 in x 3.07 in x 1.77 in, so it fits in a backpack or briefcase. The unit prints at 7.0 ppm with a maximum resolution of 203 dpi on thermal paper.

Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity with built

Connectivity is provided by Bluetooth for iPhone, Android, iPad and tablet, plus a USB-C cable for laptop and computer printing after a driver install. A built-in paper bin holds up to 160 sheets, removing the need for a separate roll holder. The printer accepts media widths of 110 mm, 80 mm and 53 mm as well as 8.5 x 11 in US Letter and A4 sizes. Power draw is 19.5 watts.

Monochrome output on thermal paper only

The A285M uses inkless thermal technology, so it prints black and white only and requires thermal paper with the print side facing up. It does not support regular copy paper, colour output or duplex printing. Buyers who need colour documents, double-sided pages or plain-paper compatibility should choose a different printer type.
