Sliding Ladder Hardware Kit

This 16FT kit supplies the complete rolling mechanism for a library ladder. Carbon steel rails, welded brackets and braked floor wheels arrive ready to mount. The wooden ladder itself is sold separately.

Suits fixed-track installations

Buyers who need a self-supporting ladder or a different track length should look at other options. The welded brackets set a 24 centre-to-centre spacing that cannot be adjusted on site.

16FT track length decides fit

Measure the total run of your shelving before ordering; the kit provides exactly 16 feet of rail. If your application requires a shorter or longer track, this hardware will not match.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16 ft kit or a shorter rail for my shelf height?

This kit supplies 16 ft of track in four 4 ft sections; choose it when your rail run matches that length, otherwise a different kit is needed.

How does the telescopic upper roller affect daily use?

The telescopic upper roller lets the ladder glide smoothly along the rail while keeping the top wheels engaged for stable side-to-side movement.

What does the 24 inch bracket spacing mean for mounting?

The two welded brackets sit 24 inches apart, so you need solid blocking or studs at that exact spacing to secure the track.
