Adds a 1000Mbps Ethernet port and three USB 3.0 ports to a USB-C laptop, all working at once with no drivers needed
This hub adds a wired network connection and three USB 3.0 ports to laptops that only have USB-C. It suits users who need a stable 1000Mbps link for work or study and want to attach a keyboard, mouse and external drive at the same time. All four ports operate together without switching. The compact aluminium body fits easily in a laptop bag.
The adapter works immediately on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, Mac OS and Chrome OS with no software to install. Simply plug it into a USB-C port and connect the Ethernet cable. The most frequent problem is using a USB-C port that carries only power or video, which prevents the hub from enumerating. Another cause of dropped links is a faulty or unshielded Ethernet cable.
Verify that the host port supports USB 3.0 data and not just charging or DisplayPort alt mode. The hub draws bus power, so a port limited to low current may cause disconnects when a hard drive is attached. Confirm the operating system is one of the listed versions; older releases are not supported. The RJ45 jack is rated at 100Mbps despite the 1000Mbps claim, so maximum wired throughput will be lower.

The hub is plug-and-play with no drivers needed; once connected, open Network settings on macOS and verify the link speed shows 1000Mbps for the USB-C Ethernet adapter.
The hub itself provides three USB 3.0 ports and one RJ45 port; you supply your own Ethernet cable and any USB peripherals such as flash drives, keyboards or mice.
This single 4-in-1 version adds three USB 3.0 ports plus gigabit Ethernet to one USB-C port, so it covers both legacy USB-A devices and wired networking in one adapter.
