The battery section tests 12V health, while cranking and charging checks handle 12V and 24V systems. It is not suited for heavy-duty fleet analysis requiring advanced module programming.

Thermal Behaviour and Power Draw

The unit draws operating power directly from the vehicle OBDII port or battery terminals during tests. No internal fan or active cooling is present, so the housing remains at ambient temperature during normal scanning. Current consumption is low enough not to strain a healthy 12V system. Extended idle use does not generate noticeable heat.

Sustained Load Performance

During a full battery test sequence the device measures voltage, current, internal resistance and rated CCA in one continuous session.
