Diagnoses engine faults on OBD-II vehicles from 1996 onwards with live data graphs, cranking and charging system tests, and built-in DTC lookup
The TAURKENAM AT500 is a handheld code reader designed for technicians and vehicle owners who need to diagnose check-engine lights on OBD-II compliant cars from 1996 onward. It retrieves generic and manufacturer-specific trouble codes, displays live sensor data in graphical form, and can clear codes and reset monitors once repairs are complete.
The scanner plugs directly into the standard OBD-II port and draws power from the vehicle, so no separate battery or charger is required. Built-in voltmeter functions test cranking voltage, cranking time and charging-system ripple under both loaded and unloaded conditions, while the module-present test and VIN/CIN/CVN retrieval help confirm communication with all on-board controllers.
Because the unit is powered through the diagnostic connector, its current draw is minimal and produces no audible fan noise or measurable heat during normal operation. The tool remains cool to the touch throughout extended live-data sessions, and its passive design adds no thermal load to the workshop or garage environment.
