1U 19-inch blank fiber patch panel

This TAURKENAM panel occupies one rack unit in a standard 19-inch cabinet and accepts three LGX cassettes or adapter panels. It is built for network managers who need a modular patching foundation that can be reconfigured as circuits are added, moved or changed.

Three LGX cassette slots

The chassis holds up to three LGX fiber cassettes or adapter panels, enabling up to 72 LC or 36 SC connections in a single U of space. Because it only accepts LGX-format modules, installers cannot mix in non-LGX hardware and must source compatible cassettes separately.

Folded-edge 16-gauge steel frame

The panel is formed from 16-gauge steel with folded top and bottom edges for rigidity, then black powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Mounting uses standard 19-inch rack holes; the only common issue is forgetting to order LGX cassettes, leaving the panel empty on installation day.

Questions about this item

Will the 16-gauge steel frame or black powder coat need any periodic re-finishing to stay corrosion-resistant?

The 16-gauge steel is black powder coated to protect against wear, corrosion, impact, and weather, so no re-finishing is required under normal rack conditions.

Does the 1U 19-inch panel impose any airflow or thermal limit when three LGX cassettes are fully populated?

The blank panel itself has no active cooling; thermal limits depend on the cassettes installed and the rack’s overall airflow design.

How much heat or noise does the panel generate when mounted in a rack running continuously?

The passive steel panel produces no noise and negligible heat; any thermal or acoustic load comes from the LGX cassettes and connected equipment.
