Compact 60% layout for desk space

The TAURKENAM Gaming Keyboard uses a 60% layout that removes the function row, navigation cluster and numeric keypad. This compact footprint leaves more room for mouse movement and suits users who prefer a minimal desk setup. A full aluminium frame adds rigidity and a premium feel to the chassis.

Hot-swappable switches and gasket mount

Gateron G Pro Brown tactile switches come pre-installed and are rated for 50 million keystrokes. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches, allowing changes without soldering. A double-gasket mounting system and screw-in stabilisers reduce key wobble and improve typing acoustics.

Programmable via QMK and VIA

Full QMK and VIA support lets users remap every key and create macros through a graphical interface on Windows, macOS or Linux. Settings are stored on the keyboard itself, so custom layouts travel with the device. Wired USB connectivity ensures consistent response without battery management.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Keychron Q4 and which step do people often miss?

Connect the cable, then import the Q4 keymap JSON file into VIA before remapping keys; skipping the JSON import is the step most users overlook.

What maintenance will the Gateron G Pro Brown switches need over time?

The switches are rated for 50 million keystrokes and are hot-swappable, so you can replace individual switches without soldering when they eventually wear out.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions on this 60% keyboard?

The compact 60% layout removes dedicated function and navigation keys, so layer switching becomes the practical bottleneck during extended use.
