  • Linear 50cN actuation for rapid keystrokes

  • 75 mm total travel keeps presses shallow
  • Plate-mounted 3-pin design fits hot-swap boards
  • Switch puller included for easy swaps

Low-Profile Switches for Hot-Swap Boards

These Gateron KS-27 Red switches are plate-mounted, three-pin linears built for hot-swap mechanical keyboards that accept low-profile formats. The pack contains 90 pieces and includes a switch puller so you can swap or build without extra tools.

Straightforward Installation with a Puller

Each switch drops into a compatible hot-swap socket; the supplied remover makes extraction clean and reduces the risk of bent pins. The only common issue is attempting to fit them into a standard MX-height board or a PCB that lacks low-profile cut-outs, which will not work.

Linear Feel with Short Travel

Pre-travel is 1.5 mm and total travel 2.75 mm at 50 cN actuation, giving quick, smooth keystrokes suited to fast gaming. The reduced height limits keycap choices to low-profile sets, so buyers wanting tall sculpted caps or a deeper thock should look elsewhere.
