Converts 48 V PoE to 5 V 2.4 A micro-USB power for tablets, Dropcam or Raspberry Pi over 100-150 m Ethernet cable
This splitter converts 48 V PoE into 5 V at 2.4 A over a Micro USB connector, delivering up to 12 W to tablets, Dropcam units or Raspberry Pi 2 and 3B+ boards. It operates with IEEE 802.3af switches or 48 V injectors and accepts input voltages from 44 V to 57 V DC with over-voltage protection.
The unit suits projects where a PoE switch or injector already exists and the endpoint device uses Micro USB for power. It is not for devices that require a different connector, higher current than 2.4 A, or gigabit Ethernet throughput, and it cannot function without a compliant PoE source.
The single decisive specification is the 5 V 2.4 A Micro USB power output drawn from a standard 802.3af PoE feed, enabling 12 W delivery at distances up to 100 m or 150 m over Ethernet cable. If your device needs more power, a different voltage or a gigabit data path, this splitter will not meet the requirement.

The splitter itself is included; you must supply an IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or a 48 V injector and an Ethernet cable up to 100-150 m.
This model delivers 5 V 2.4 A over micro USB for Pi 2/3B+ and tablets; for gigabit PoE switches the manufacturer recommends the U515902 splitter instead.
It converts 44-57 V DC from the PoE line into a steady 5 V 2.4 A micro USB output with over-voltage protection.
