Compact 87-key layout

The TAURKENAM Phantom+ is a tenkeyless mechanical gaming keyboard built for players who prefer a smaller footprint on the desk. It uses Wraith Red linear switches and leaves the number pad out to give the mouse more room.

Hot-swap sockets and detachable cable

Hot-swap sockets accept Wraith switches only, letting owners change the feel without soldering. A detachable USB-A to USB-C braided cable connects the board to the PC and can be replaced if damaged. The carbon steel base plate adds rigidity while the ABS housing keeps weight down.

Per-key RGB and macro control

Full software control handles per-key RGB colour, lighting effects, macro programming, polling rate and firmware updates. Settings are stored on the keyboard so they travel with the board. Builders who need a numpad or dedicated media keys should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 87-key layout limit macros or function access during long sessions?

The compact 87-key layout omits a dedicated number pad and function row, so macros and secondary functions are handled through the software layer or Fn combinations rather than dedicated keys.

How much heat or noise does the keyboard produce when used continuously all day?

Mechanical switches and RGB LEDs generate minimal heat; the carbon steel plate dissipates it passively, and the Wraith Red linear switches operate quietly with no tactile click.

What must I already own to use the hot-swap sockets on this keyboard?

The hot-swap sockets accept only Tecware Wraith switches, so you need compatible Wraith switch packs to swap or replace switches.
