PoE Splitter for Apple Tablet 10.2 & Mini, iPhone

This new TAURKENAM adapter converts 802.3af Power over Ethernet into 5 volts at 12 watts while passing Fast Ethernet data to compatible Apple tablets and iPhones. It supports the 10.2-inch tablet, the Mini model, and iPhones with Lightning connectors. The single-unit design combines power and network delivery in one compact right-angle housing.

Commercial installers needing wired security

The splitter suits digital signage, point-of-sale stations, and conference-room schedulers that benefit from a single-cable installation up to 328 feet away. Wired Ethernet provides more consistent security than wireless alternatives. Buyers with USB-C Apple devices, including the 12.9-inch Pro, cannot use this model and must select a different converter.

Requires 48-volt PoE injector or 802.3af switch

A 48-volt PoE injector or an 802.3af-compliant PoE switch is mandatory to power the adapter; the 48-volt supply is not included. Without that upstream source the splitter delivers neither power nor data to the connected Apple device.

Questions about this item

Does the splitter come with a PoE injector or 48 V power supply, or must I buy one separately?

The splitter requires a 48 volt PoE injector or an 802.3 af PoE switch; the 48 volt power supply is not included and must be purchased separately.

Which Apple tablets and phones are supported by this specific model?

This model supports Apple Tablet 10.2, Apple Tablet Mini and iPhone with Lightning connectors; it will not work with USB-C devices such as the Apple Tablet Pro 12.9.

What data speed will I actually get when the splitter is connected to a 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet network?

The adapter provides a Fast Ethernet link rated at 100 Mbps, so the wired connection to the tablet or phone is limited to that throughput.
