Telescoping Ladder 12.5 FT

This aluminium telescopic ladder extends to 12.5 FT for jobs such as light repair, painting and branch trimming. It collapses to 34.6 × 18.1 inches so it fits in a car boot or alongside furniture. The lightweight alloy construction makes it easy to carry around the house or to an RV site. It suits homeowners and travellers who need a compact, portable climbing aid.

Installation ease and common issues

Each rung has a fixed lock that engages automatically as the ladder extends, reducing the chance of finger pinching. No tools are required; simply pull the sections until every lock clicks into place. The main risk is failing to verify that every rung is fully locked before climbing, which can cause a section to collapse under load.

Pre-purchase checks

Ensure the collapsed dimensions of 34.6 × 18.1 inches will fit your intended storage space or vehicle boot. Confirm the 1.6 inch pedal width meets your comfort and stability requirements for the planned tasks. Check that the maximum extended height of 12.5 FT is sufficient for the highest point you need to reach.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the telescopic fixed locks on each step are engaged before climbing?

Extend each rung until you hear the lock click into place; the mechanism prevents finger pinching and holds the selected height securely.

What comes in the package and is any extra hardware required for basic use?

The ladder ships with two triangle stabilizers, top caps and angled feet already fitted; no additional parts are needed for standard operation.

Which height setting should I select for a task at 12.5 FT maximum reach?

Extend the ladder fully to its 12.5 FT length and lock every rung; the 1.6 inch wide anti-slip pedals and stabilizers keep it steady at that height.
