IPX8 Certified Waterproof Pouch

The TAURKENAM dry bag carries an IPX8 certification from a leading testing body, confirming it is fully submersible. It fits large smartphones such as the iPhone 15 Pro Max, 14 Pro Max, 13 Pro Max, XS, XR and Galaxy S21. The pouch keeps the device bone dry while allowing touchscreen use, photos and video capture underwater. It is built from soft yet ultra-durable materials for repeated adventure use.

Capacity And Headroom

The internal space accommodates the listed flagship handsets with room for a slim case, but it will not fit tablets or bulky rugged phones. The dual seal of Velcro and a high-grade zip lock holds pressure at depth, yet the envelope design offers no buoyancy on its own. Users needing to carry power banks, keys or multiple devices will find the volume insufficient.

44 Inch Shock Cord Lanyard

A 44 inch UV and abrasion resistant nautical grade shock cord with alloy spring loaded carabiners is included. It lets you clip, loop or tie the pouch to a life jacket, belt, backpack or swimsuit for hands free security. The tether removes the risk of losing the phone overboard during snorkelling, kayaking or cruise activities. No extra mounting hardware or software is supplied.

Questions about this item

Will the IPX8 pouch still seal properly if I keep using my older phone model alongside it?

The pouch is designed to fit devices such as iPhone 15 Pro Max, 14 Pro Max, 13 Pro Max, XS, XR and Galaxy S21, so older models within that size range remain fully protected by the velcro and zip-lock closure.

How can I verify the IPX8 rating is working after I set up the pouch?

Close the velcro flap and zip lock completely, then submerge the pouch in water; the phone screen should stay responsive for photos and messages while the interior remains dry.

Does the package include the 44-inch shock cord lanyard and carabiner, or must I buy them separately?

The 44-inch UV-resistant shock cord with alloy spring-loaded carabiner is supplied in the box, so no separate purchase is required for the lanyard.
