Three-Scale Set for Household Use

The Taylor 5252616 arrives as a set of three identical digital bathroom scales, each built around a 12.2 inch square tempered glass platform with a brushed stainless steel accent. Designed for multi-unit households or gifting, the scales share the same flat platform profile and blue-backlit LCD display. All three units ship with AAA alkaline batteries installed, so they are ready for immediate placement in separate bathrooms.

400 lb Capacity and Display Readout

Each scale supports a maximum load of 400 pounds and reports weight in pounds, kilograms or stones on a 3.21 by 1.56 inch LCD. The auto-on function activates the display the moment a user steps onto the 12.2 by 12.2 inch platform, while an auto shut-off feature conserves the two AAA cells. A low-battery indicator warns before power runs out, preserving uninterrupted daily weigh-ins up to the rated limit.

Platform Dimensions and Power Constraints

The platform measures 12.2 inches wide by 12.2 inches deep by .98 inch high and weighs 2.068 kilograms per unit, defining the footprint and portability of each scale. Operation depends entirely on the included AAA alkaline batteries; no mains adapter or rechargeable option is provided. The 5-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship from the 1851-established brand, but does not extend battery life beyond normal alkaline performance.

Questions about this item

Will the 12.2-inch platform fit on the same bathroom floor space as my older 12-inch scale?

The platform measures 12.2 inches square and 0.98 inches high, so it occupies a slightly larger footprint than a 12-inch scale but remains low-profile.

How do I know the scale is calibrated correctly after I install the batteries?

Step on the scale and the auto-on function activates the backlit LCD; a stable reading in pounds, kilograms or stones confirms normal operation.

Does the set of three include batteries for every scale or do I need to buy extra AAA cells?

Each scale ships with 2 AAA alkaline batteries installed, so all three are ready to use immediately without additional purchases.
