TAYLOR 73824072 bath scale 440 lb 11.8 in platform Black

Capacity and readout

This digital bathroom scale supports up to 440 lb and displays weight in 0.2 lb increments with readings also available in kilograms or stone. Four precision sensors provide consistent measurements across the full range. The 3.21 x 1.56 inch red LED display is bright and easy to read. The platform measures 11.8 x 11.8 inches and features a moulded carbon-fibre finish with an anti-slip surface.

Installation and common issues

The scale uses step-on technology so it activates automatically when you step onto the platform with no tapping required. It ships with three AAA zinc-carbon batteries included for immediate use. Auto on/off and a low-battery indicator help preserve power during daily weighing. Place the unit on a hard, flat floor to avoid unstable readings caused by carpet or uneven tiles.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The high 440 lb capacity suits adults who need a higher limit than many standard scales provide. The tare function is useful for weighing luggage or packages in addition to personal weight. The lightweight 1.678 kg design makes it easy to move or store between uses. Buyers who require body-composition metrics such as body fat or water percentage should look elsewhere as this model provides weight only.
