Taylor TE22FT 22 lb Digital Portion Control Scale commercial kitchen appliance

Scale capacity and precision

The Taylor TE22FT is a digital counter scale built for commercial kitchens that need reliable portion control. It weighs up to 22 pounds in 0.1 ounce increments with a stated readout accuracy of 2.86 g. The 7.15 inch square stainless steel platform has a marine edge to contain ingredients and removes for cleaning. An LCD shows weight, while tare and hold functions speed repetitive tasks.

Kitchens needing consistent portions

This scale suits prep lines, bakeries and catering operations where repeatable 22 lb weighments keep recipes uniform and costs predictable. Dual power from the included AC adapter or AAA batteries lets it work on any counter without a dedicated outlet. Operations that regularly weigh bulk items above 22 lb or need legal-for-trade certification should select a different model.

Maximum capacity 22 pounds

The single specification that decides fit is the 22 pound maximum capacity combined with 0.1 ounce resolution. If your heaviest portion exceeds 22 lb the scale cannot weigh it; if your process demands finer resolution than 0.1 oz the readout will not support it. Match those two numbers to your menu's largest portion and tightest tolerance before purchasing.
