Vertical Weatherproof Cover
The Taymac MM2410C is a 2-gang clear polycarbonate cover designed to protect outdoor receptacles while they remain in use. It fits duplex, GFCI or switch configurations and mounts in either horizontal or vertical orientations.
Replaces Standard Covers
This unit upgrades basic flip-lid plates that must be closed to maintain a weather seal. The jump is worthwhile when cords stay plugged in for extended periods and a lockable, code-compliant enclosure is required.
Fits Standard Two-Gang Boxes
The cover installs on a standard two-gang box using the included mounting hardware and attached polyethylene foam gasket. Patented knock-outs and Quick-Fit keyhole slots allow custom fitting without additional fabrication.

Questions about this item
What mounting orientation and key-hole spacing does the MM2410C require?
The cover mounts horizontally or vertically using the patented Quick-Fit key-hole slots; the included hardware aligns with standard 2-gang box centres.
Which step do installers most often miss when fitting the patented knock-out base?
Remove only the knock-outs that match your conduit size, then seat the supplied polyethylene foam gasket before tightening the mounting screws.
When should the clear polycarbonate cover or polyethylene foam gasket be replaced?
Replace the cover if the polycarbonate cracks or yellows, and swap the gasket whenever it loses compression or shows tears to maintain the weatherproof seal.
