Taymac MX3300 1-Gang Horizontal Cover

The Taymac MX3300 is a new, single-gang weatherproof cover made from die-cast metal with a gray finish. It mounts horizontally and fits duplex receptacles, GFCIs, switches and round devices. An 8-in-1 configuration and an attached polyethylene foam gasket are included, along with mounting hardware. The cover is UL Listed and meets NEC standards.

For outdoor or damp-location outlets needing one

This cover suits installers protecting a single receptacle, GFCI or switch in a horizontal box. It will not work for vertical mounting orientations or for multi-gang enclosures that require two or more openings. Buyers needing a deeper box or a non-metallic housing should look at a different product.

1-gang horizontal mounting

The defining specification is the single-gang horizontal layout combined with an 8-in-1 configuration that accepts duplex, GFCI, switch and round devices. This determines whether the cover matches the box and device you are installing.
