TB Wood's 343B Quick Detachable Sheave

The TB Wood's 343B is a three-groove V-belt sheave designed for power transmission drives that use A, AX, B, BX, 4L or 5L belt sections. It mounts on a Quick Detachable SH bushing to provide a secure, concentric fit on shafts from 1/2 in to 1-5/8 in.

Pitch diameter limits for each belt section

The sheave offers a 3 in pitch diameter for A, AX and 4L belts and a 3.4 in pitch diameter for B, BX and 5L belts. Sections 3L, 3V, 3VX, 5V, 5VX, C and CX are not supported, so the drive ratio is fixed to the two available diameters.

Quick Detachable bushing installation

The SH bushing slides into the tapered bore and locks with cap screws, allowing the sheave to be fitted or removed without special tools. Correct torque on the screws is essential; under-tightening permits slip while over-tightening can crack the bushing flange.
