The Tb Wood'S 424B is a four-groove V-belt pulley designed for power transmission systems. It uses a quick detachable bushed bore that accepts shaft diameters from 1/2 in to 1-15/16 in. 3.8 in and 4.2 in pitch diameters
The pulley provides a 3.8 in pitch diameter for 4L, A and AX belts and a 4.2 in pitch diameter for 5L, B and BX belts. These two diameters cover the most common light-duty belt cross sections. The unit does not support 3V, 5V, C or CX profiles, so drives requiring those sizes need a different sheave. Four grooves give extra grip for higher torque loads.
QD bushing mount for easy alignment
The quick detachable bushing seats the pulley concentrically on the shaft and locks with cap screws. This method eliminates set-screw marring and allows precise belt alignment during installation.
