Tb Wood'S 7SC44 Sleeve Coupling Spacer Flange
Sleeve coupling spacer flange rated for 5,250 RPM and 940 in-lb torque in cast iron
- Spacer flange enables quick alignment for sleeve coupling
- Cast-iron hub resists wear in heavy-duty drives
- Rated for 5 250 RPM maximum operating speed
- Handles up to 940 in-lb torque capacity
- Fits compressors, conveyors, motors and pumps
Coupling Size 7 Spacer Flange
This spacer flange fits Coupling Size 7 in Sure-Flex sleeve coupling assemblies. It connects driving and driven shafts on compressors, conveyors, motors and pumps. The cast iron hub measures 2 13/16 in diameter with a 29/32 in body length. Overall length through the bore is 2 1/16 in.
Speed and Torque Limits
Maximum operating speed is 5,250 RPM and maximum torque capacity is 940 in-lb. Exceeding either limit can cause premature wear or coupling failure. The inch-system dimensions determine alignment tolerances for the connected equipment. No bore or bushing size applies to this spacer flange component.
Replaces Worn Spacer Flanges
This part replaces a damaged or worn spacer flange in an existing Size 7 coupling. The upgrade is worth it when vibration, misalignment or hub cracking appears during inspection. It is not for applications requiring a different coupling size, a bored hub or a higher torque rating than 940 in-lb.

Questions about this item
Which coupling size matches a 4 5/8 in outside diameter and 940 in-lb torque rating?
The 7SC44 spacer flange is built for coupling size 7, with a 4 5/8 in outside diameter and a 940 in-lb maximum torque limit.
What does the 5,250 RPM rating mean when the flange is installed on a compressor or pump shaft?
It is the highest rotational speed the cast-iron flange can sustain without exceeding its design limits, so the driven equipment must not exceed 5,250 RPM.
How does the 29/32 in hub body length affect alignment with a Sure-Flex sleeve?
The 29/32 in hub body length sets the fixed spacing between connected shafts, so the sleeve must be chosen to match that gap for proper engagement.
