Fixed-bore V-belt pulley for light-duty drives
The Tb Wood'S BK5234 is a single-groove sheave built for A, AX, B and BX V-belts in fractional-horsepower drives. Its 3/4 in fixed bore mounts directly on a motor or line-shaft without a separate bushing. The 4.95 in outside diameter delivers standard speed ratios for conveyors, fans and small industrial equipment.
Suited to maintenance and OEM replacements
This pulley fits existing drives that specify a 3/4 in bore and the pitch diameters listed above. It is not for applications that require a taper-lock or QD bushing mounting, nor for drives using C, CX, 3V, 5V or 8V belt sections which this sheave does not accommodate.
3/4 in fixed bore decides interchangeability
The bore diameter and fixed-bore type are the critical dimensions that determine whether this sheave bolts onto your shaft. Verify the shaft size and that the drive uses A, AX, B or BX belts with 4.2 in or 4.6 in pitch diameters before ordering.

Questions about this item
Which V-belt sections fit the 4.2 in and 4.6 in pitch diameters on this BK5234 pulley?
The 4.2 in pitch diameter matches 4L, A and AX belts, while the 4.6 in pitch diameter matches 5L, B and BX belts.
Will the 3/4 in fixed bore on this pulley accept a keyed shaft from older equipment?
Yes, the fixed 3/4 in bore is sized for standard keyed shafts used on legacy motors and gearboxes.
How can I confirm the pulley is running true after installation?
Rotate the pulley by hand and check for wobble; a true-running pulley shows no visible run-out at the 4.95 in outside diameter.
