Quick Detachable Bushing E
The Tb Wood'S E11516 is a Quick Detachable bushing designed for power transmission assemblies. It fits a 1 15/16 in bore diameter on keyed shafts and provides a secure taper-lock connection. The steel body measures 2.625 in overall length with a 3.834 in bushing diameter and a 5 in bolt circle. Three SAE Grade 5 cap screws are included for immediate installation.
Builders using Series E hubs
This bushing suits maintenance crews and OEMs standardised on the Series E Quick Detachable system with a 1 15/16 in shaft requirement. The split flange design allows straightforward mounting and removal without special tools. Shops needing a different bore diameter, a different bushing series, or a metric interface must select a different part number.
Critical fit: 1 15/16 in bore diameter
The single specification that determines compatibility is the 1 15/16 in bore diameter matched to a keyed shaft with a 1/2 in wide by 1/4 in high keyway. The 3/4 in per ft taper and 1.875 in length less flange fix the engagement depth inside the mating hub. Verify the hub is drilled for the 5 in bolt circle and 1/2 in -13 threads before ordering.

Questions about this item
What does the 1 15/16 in bore mean for my shaft?
The 1 15/16 in bore fits a shaft of that exact diameter with a 1/2 in keyway width and 1/4 in keyway height for positive torque transfer.
How does the 3/4 in per ft taper affect installation?
The 3/4 in per ft taper draws the bushing tight onto the shaft when the three 1/2-13 cap screws are torqued, creating a self-locking interference fit.
What clearance does the 6 in overall diameter need?
The 6 in overall diameter and 3/4 in flange width require a matching E-series sheave or sprocket hub with a 5 in bolt circle for the three mounting screws.
