TB Wood'S JA 19 mm Quick Detachable Bushing

This new TB Wood'S bushing is a 19 mm bore quick detachable component for power transmission assemblies. It fits keyed shafts and includes three cap screws for installation. The steel construction meets SAE Grade 5 specifications.

Suits 19 mm metric shafts needing a split flange

Buyers needing a different bore diameter or a non split flange design should look elsewhere. This bushing uses #10-24 x 1 in bolts on a 1.66 in bolt circle. It is not intended for shafts outside the JA series specification.

19 mm bore diameter with 3/4 in per ft taper

The 19 mm bore diameter and 3/4 in per ft taper determine shaft compatibility. Keyway dimensions are 6 mm width by 2.9 mm height. Overall diameter measures 2 in with a 1.375 in bushing diameter. Length less flange is .688 in.

Questions about this item

Does the JA 19 mm bushing ship with mounting hardware or must I order cap screws separately?

The package includes three SAE Grade 5 cap screws sized #10-24 x 1 in so no separate fastener purchase is required.

How do I decide between the JA series and another bore series for my shaft?

Choose the JA series when the shaft diameter is 19 mm, the keyway measures 6 mm wide by 2.9 mm high and the bolt circle is 1.66 in.

What does the 3/4 in per foot taper mean when the bushing is installed on a keyed shaft?

The taper locks the 1.375 in bore tightly onto the shaft over the 0.688 in grip length, transmitting torque through the 6 mm keyway without setscrews.
