TCL RC813 remote cover

The TCL RC813 remote cover protects the handset that ships with select TCL televisions. It is aimed at owners who want to shield the original remote from everyday knocks, spills and button wear while keeping every dedicated streaming key accessible.

Installation and common issues

The cover slips over the remote in seconds and requires no tools or adhesive. The only frequent issue is a slightly tighter fit around the Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, TCL, Apple TV and Pluto TV keys, which can feel stiff until the material relaxes.

Capacity and headroom

The silicone skin covers the full length of the RC813, absorbing drops and guarding the battery compartment that holds two AAA cells. It does not add waterproofing or shock-rated protection, so heavy impact or liquid immersion will still damage the electronics inside.
