Voice remote for TCL smart TVs

The TCL RC923A universal remote is a voice-enabled controller designed for TCL Google TV and Android TV models. It connects via Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 with an infrared fallback, so it works without direct line of sight. Two AAA batteries are required but not supplied.

Streaming viewers who want quick app access

Dedicated one-touch buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Apple TV, Disney+ and TCLtv give instant launch of the most popular services. The built-in microphone enables voice search and commands on compatible sets. Buyers who need a remote for non-TCL brands or who want backlit keys should look elsewhere.

Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 pairing method

The remote pairs to a TCL Android or Google TV by pressing and holding the HOME and OK buttons together. This BLE 4.2 link provides smart-TV control beyond basic infrared, and the IR fallback covers legacy functions. If your television lacks BLE 4.2 support, the voice and quick-pair features will not work.
