Strategy Simulator DLC for Steam owners

The Escapists 2 Glorious Regime Prison DLC adds a new jungle compound to the base strategy simulator. It requires the original game on Steam and a Steam account for activation. The downloadable content is sold as an online code and is region restricted in several countries.

Runs on modest hardware with low system demands

Minimum specifications call for a 2.4 GHz dual core processor, 2 GB RAM and either Intel 4400 integrated graphics, a GTX 280 or a Radeon HD 7750. DirectX 11 and 2 GB of storage space are also required. These modest needs mean the add on runs smoothly on older laptops and desktops without taxing the CPU or GPU during extended play sessions.

Light load keeps thermals and noise low

Because the DLC uses the same lightweight engine as the base game, sustained play produces minimal heat and fan activity on typical systems. Power draw remains low and there are no reported thermal spikes or loud cooling noise during normal use. Users without the base game or those in blocked regions cannot activate the product.

Questions about this item

Does the DLC add noticeable heat or fan noise during long sessions?

The add-on runs inside the base game, so power draw and thermals stay identical to The Escapists 2 itself.

What must I already own before the code will activate?

You need a Steam account and the base game The Escapists 2 installed on the same account.

Will the jungle compound map load on a PC with a GeForce GTX 280 and 2 GB RAM?

Yes — those parts meet the listed minimum requirements for the base game, so the DLC will run.
