Soundtrack DLC for Monster Sanctuary

This downloadable content adds the official soundtrack to Monster Sanctuary on PC. Published by Team 17 Digital and developed by Moi Rai Games, it delivers 41 music tracks from the Metroidvania adventure. The DLC requires the base game and a Steam account for activation. It is sold as a new online game code for the Steam platform.

For players who own Monster Sanctuary

This DLC suits owners of the base game who want to listen to the full score outside of gameplay. Buyers who do not already own Monster Sanctuary cannot use this content, as the base game is not included. Activation is blocked in several countries listed in the specifications. Mac and Linux users should verify their OS version meets the listed minimums before purchase.

Requires Monster Sanctuary base game

The single specification that decides compatibility is ownership of Monster Sanctuary on Steam. Without the base game installed, the soundtrack DLC will not function. A Steam account and an internet connection are also mandatory for activation and download. Minimum PC requirements include Windows 7, a 2.0 GHz dual-core processor, 2 GB RAM, and a GeForce 8800 GT or Radeon HD 4870 with 512 MB video memory.

Questions about this item

Does the Monster Sanctuary Soundtrack DLC add any new gameplay or is it only the 41 music tracks?

It adds 41 tracks from the game's score for listening outside play; no new levels, monsters or mechanics are included.

Will the soundtrack play on a PC that only meets the base game's minimum specs of a 2.0 GHz dual-core CPU and 2 GB RAM?

Yes, the DLC's own minimums match those figures exactly, so any machine that runs Monster Sanctuary can play the music files.

Is the Steam code for this DLC restricted to Windows, or can I redeem it on MacOS 10.14 and Ubuntu 14.04 as well?

A single Steam activation unlocks the soundtrack on all three supported platforms — Windows 7+, MacOS Mojave 10.14+ and Ubuntu 14.04+.
