Fits 17-inch devices

This combination lock secures laptops, tablets, notebooks and desktops that have a standard security locking slot. The 1.1 metre galvanised steel chain loops around a fixed object such as a desk leg or pole. A four-digit code set by the user prevents unauthorised removal. The package contains one lock unit.

Resists cutting attempts

The cut-resistant chain withstands sustained force better than thin cables, giving time for intervention during a theft attempt. The T-bar locking mechanism engages the slot securely and does not rely on adhesive or friction. The four-dial combination eliminates keys that can be lost or copied. The lock body and chain are built for daily transport in a bag.

Replaces keyed or shorter cables

Users who have lost keys on older locks or need a longer reach than shorter cables provide will benefit from the 3.3 foot length and keyless entry. The upgrade is worth it when the workspace layout demands anchoring to objects further from the device. It is not suited for ultra-thin devices that lack a standard locking slot.

Yes, the lock supports devices up to 17 in and the 1.1 m cut-resistant galvanised steel chain loops around desks, poles or other stationary objects.
