IEC C14 to Schuko adapter cord

This 180 cm black cable connects an IEC 320 C14 male plug to a European CEE 7/7 female socket. It is built for server racks, UPS units and PDUs that need to accept standard EU power leads. The H05VV-F3G 0.75 mm cable carries up to 16 A at 250 V for a maximum load of 1800 W.

1800 W continuous rating

The cord handles typical rackmount power supplies, network switches and UPS input feeds without derating. At the full 16 A rating the 0.75 mm conductors run warm but stay within spec. Loads above 1800 W or sustained currents over 16 A exceed the cable's capacity and require a heavier gauge.

Replaces fixed IEC leads

Use this adapter when a UPS or PDU only offers C14 outlets but your equipment has a moulded Schuko plug. It avoids rewiring or replacing the device cord. The jump is not worth it if the rack already provides native Schuko sockets or if the run needs a longer reach than 180 cm.
