Tele Vue Nagler Type-6 9mm 1.25" 82° Eyepiece

9mm 82° Eyepiece for Telescopes

The Tele Vue Nagler Type-6 9mm eyepiece provides an ultra-wide 82 degree field of view through a 1.25 inch barrel. Its 7-element, 4-group optical design uses fully multi-coated lenses with blackened edges and anti-reflection threads to maximise contrast and sharpness across the entire field.

Suited for High-Power Planetary Views

Astronomers seeking a short focal length with generous eye relief will appreciate the 12mm eye relief that allows comfortable extended observing sessions. The parfocal design with Group B eyepieces simplifies swapping without major refocusing. Buyers needing a 2 inch barrel format or a different focal length for wider deep-sky framing should consider other models in the range.

Fold-Down Eyecup and Textured Grip

A fold-down rubber eyecup accommodates both eyeglass wearers and non-wearers for comfortable viewing. The slip-resistant textured surface on the barrel ensures secure handling during cold or damp nights. Every unit passes a 100 percent full-field visual inspection on flat-field test instruments before shipping.
