Tele Vue Plossl 32mm 1.25" Eyepiece 50° 22mm Eye Relief

Tele Vue Plossl 32mm 1.25" Eyepiece

This Tele Vue Plossl eyepiece provides a 32mm focal length and a 50-degree apparent field of view. It uses a 1.25-inch barrel for standard focusers. The long eye relief and low magnification suit observers who want wide-field views of large deep-sky objects.

Upgrading from shorter Plossl eyepieces

Moving to this 32mm model increases true field and reduces magnification compared to shorter focal lengths. The jump is worth it when you need the widest possible field in a 1.25-inch format. Observers who require higher magnification for planetary detail or smaller targets will not benefit from this focal length.

Sustained viewing comfort and contrast

Fully multi-coated optics with blackened lens edges and anti-reflection threads maintain contrast during extended sessions. The 22mm eye relief allows comfortable viewing without pressing against the eyecup. High-index glass and a 4-element design control edge aberrations across the field when the telescope is pointed at the same area for long periods.
