Designed for RE97 Headworn Microphone

The Telex WS-97 beige wind screen is built specifically for the RE97 headworn microphone. It fits that model alone and protects the capsule from wind and environmental debris during live or studio use.

Suited for RE97 users needing wind protection

Singers and speakers using an RE97 headset who want reduced wind noise and a beige finish for stage visibility will benefit. Users of any other microphone model or those needing a different colour should look at something else.

Compatibility limited to RE97 model

The single specification that decides fit is the RE97 headworn microphone designation. Only that model is supported, so confirm your microphone is an RE97 before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the WS-97 wind screen is correctly fitted to my RE97 microphone?

The screen should sit snugly over the RE97 capsule with no gaps. When speaking, plosives and breath noise are noticeably reduced while voice clarity remains natural.

What comes in the package and is anything else required?

One beige WS-97 wind screen is included. It is made for the RE97 headworn microphone, so that microphone must be purchased separately if you do not already own it.

Which version should I choose for the RE97 headworn microphone?

The WS-97 is the single model built for the RE97; there are no alternative capacities or versions to select.
