Standard-Size TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow 2018 Edition

This standard-size pillow measures 24 by 15.75 by 5 inches and weighs 4.54 pounds. It uses a single piece of extra-soft TEMPUR-Memory Foam that conforms to the head, neck, and shoulders. The design targets back and stomach sleepers seeking a low-profile, pressure-relieving surface. The white polyester knit cover is hypoallergenic, removable, and machine washable.

Behaviour during extended use

The memory-foam core maintains its extra-soft feel and contouring support throughout the night without the heat buildup common in denser foams. The breathable construction and polyester cover promote airflow, keeping the surface comfortable for long sleep sessions. The cover can be removed and machine washed repeatedly to preserve freshness over years of daily use. CertiPUR-US certification confirms the foam meets standards for content, emissions, and durability.

Limits of the pillow format

The fixed 5-inch loft cannot be adjusted, so side sleepers who need higher elevation may find the profile insufficient. Memory foam responds slowly to position changes, which can feel restrictive for combination sleepers who move frequently. The standard dimensions fit conventional pillowcases, but the rectangular shape offers no contour cut-outs for shoulder clearance. The product is intended for indoor bedroom use only.

Questions about this item

Does the Tempur-Cloud pillow retain heat or make noise when used every night?

The single-piece TEMPUR-Memory Foam has no moving parts, so it produces no sound, and the breathable 100 % polyester knit cover promotes airflow to reduce heat build-up during all-night use.

What bedding must I already have for this 24 x 15.5 inch Standard pillow to fit properly?

You need a Standard-size pillowcase measuring about 24 inches long; the removable polyester cover is machine washable, so no special protector is required.

Will the extra-soft 5-inch profile feel too low if I keep my current firm mattress?

The low-profile Cloud design is made for back and stomach sleepers; on a firmer surface it still conforms closely to the head and neck, but side sleepers may find the 5-inch height insufficient.
