Turn Any Bag into a Camera Bag

The Tenba BYOB 7 camera insert transforms a standard backpack, suitcase or handbag into protective camera storage. Its soft shell moulds to the shape of the outer bag while safeguarding gear. A removable shoulder strap allows the insert to function as a standalone carrier.

For Mirrorless Shooters Needing Flexibility

Photographers carrying a compact mirrorless body with two to three lenses will find the capacity suitable. Buyers who want more storage for larger DSLR kits or multiple pro bodies should look at something else. The design prioritises adaptability over maximum internal volume.

Holds a Compact Kit with Room for Essentials

The insert comfortably accommodates a mirrorless camera and a small lens selection. Stretchy mesh side pockets provide quick access to batteries, cards or filters. It runs out of space when adding a second camera body or bulky telephoto lenses.

Questions about this item

What bag do I need to already own so the BYOB 7 insert fits inside?

Any backpack, suitcase or handbag with enough internal space for the insert's soft shell to mold against the sides will work.

Can I keep using my current camera strap while the insert sits in my bag?

Yes, the insert includes its own removable shoulder strap, so you can carry the camera gear separately without removing your bag's original straps.

How do I know the insert is protecting my mirrorless camera and 2-3 lenses once it's inside my bag?

The weatherproof material and snug fit around the gear show it's working; the insert holds its shape and the contents don't shift when you move the bag.
