Smart watch for calls and health

The Tensky ID208Plus is a 1.85 inch touch-screen smart watch that pairs with Android phones and iPhone through Bluetooth and 4G LTE. Built-in Alexa lets you check weather, control music and set alarms by voice while the microphone and speaker handle calls and SMS alerts from apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram without reaching for your phone.

Battery life and daily wear

A 128 MB internal store holds watch faces and activity logs while the LCD panel at 320 by 380 pixels stays readable in normal light. The 3ATM waterproof rating protects the device during hand-washing, showering and pool swimming, though hot water and seawater should be avoided. Sensors run 24/7 heart-rate, SpO2 and stress tracking with automatic sleep-stage analysis.

120 plus sport modes and Alexa

Over 120 sport profiles cover running, cycling, swimming, yoga and team sports, recording steps, distance and calories for each session. Alexa voice control works independently of the phone once the watch is connected, letting you start timers or query data hands-free. Message reply is not supported, so users who need to type responses from the wrist should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the Tensky ID208Plus with my Android phone for calls and Alexa?

Install the companion app, enable Bluetooth on the phone, then follow the in-app steps to bind the watch; grant call and notification permissions so the built-in microphone and speaker handle calls and Alexa voice commands.

Which parts of the ID208Plus will need replacement over time?

The silicone strap and the internal rechargeable battery are the components that wear out; the strap can be swapped for any standard band and the battery is not user-serviceable.

What stops continuous SpO2 or heart-rate tracking during a long workout?

The 128 MB onboard storage fills first; once full the watch must sync to the app via Bluetooth before it can log further health data.
