Tether Tools TetherGuard LeverLock Plate & 15' USB-C Dual Right Angle Cable, Orange

SKU CH-N70P-DW0GX

A 15-foot USB-C dual right-angle cable with a LeverLock plate that secures the connection to a camera and mounts via 1/4"-20 or Arca threads

  • Secure cable attachment with CamCleat LeverLock system
  • Lightweight all-metal plate with rubber non-slip pads
  • Universal tripod fit via 1/4"-20 thread and Arca mount
  • 15 ft USB-C dual right-angle cable for flexible positioning
  • Super-speed data transfer up to 5Gbps for fast workflow

TetherGuard LeverLock Plate

The TetherGuard LeverLock Plate provides a secure camera-end anchor for tethered shooting. Its five-point protection system uses a CamCleat lever, anti-slip speed bump, retention ridges and an S-channel to lock the cable without stressing the port. The plate mounts via a 1/4"-20 thread or Arca-style clamp and accepts cables up to .26 inches (6.5 mm) in diameter. Lightweight all-metal construction with rubber non-slip pads keeps the rig stable during long sessions.

15' USB-C Dual Right Angle Cable

The TetherPro 15' USB-C dual right-angle cable supports super-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbps. Custom-formulated jacket material resists kinking and stays clean under studio conditions. Dual right-angle connectors reduce strain on both camera and computer ports when the cable runs along the plate or across a work surface. The 15-foot length gives operators room to move without excess slack.

High-visibility orange tethering kit

Bright orange colour makes the cable and plate easy to spot on busy sets or in low light, reducing trip hazards and misplaced gear. The combined kit addresses photographers who need reliable tethering without port damage or cable fatigue. It does not serve users requiring longer runs, angled connectors on only one end, or a non-metallic mounting solution.

Questions about this item

Does the 15 ft USB-C cable generate noticeable heat or draw extra power during all-day tethered shoots?

The cable supports up to 5 Gbps data transfer and is built with rugged, kink-resistant material; it carries only the power your camera and host negotiate, so heat is minimal in normal use.

What camera mounting hardware do I need to attach the LeverLock Plate?

The plate fits a 1/4‑20 male thread and Arca-style tripod mounts, so any camera or cage with one of those interfaces will accept it directly.

Will the LeverLock Plate hold cables I already own that are thicker than .26 in?

The plate secures cables up to .26 in (6.5 mm) in diameter; thicker cables will not fit the retention channel.
