TETON Sports Celsius XXL 0°F Sleeping Bag

This rectangular sleeping bag measures 90 by 39 inches and weighs seven pounds. It uses SuperLoft Elite insulation with a polyester taffeta shell and polyester lining. The bag includes a compression sack and features a right-side zipper. It is built for one adult up to 69 inches tall.

Temperature rating and seasonal limits

The bag carries a zero-degree Fahrenheit rating, which corresponds to 18 degrees Celsius. It is classed as a three-season bag for spring, summer and autumn use. The double-layer construction and draft tubes help retain warmth in cold, damp conditions. Winter expeditions below the rated temperature will exceed its designed comfort range.

Capacity and headroom

The XXL cut provides generous width for a single sleeper to move freely. Two people can fit inside, though shoulder space becomes tight for extended rest. The half-circle mummy hood adds head coverage without restricting movement. Users taller than 69 inches will find their feet pressing against the foot box.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 90 by 39 inch XXL or a smaller size for two adults?

The XXL measures 90 by 39 inches and is rated for one person up to 69 inches tall; a smaller bag would offer less room and a lower height limit.

What does the 0 degree Fahrenheit rating mean when I am actually sleeping in it?

It indicates the bag is designed to keep an average adult warm down to 0 °F when used with an insulated pad and proper clothing.

How does the right-hand zipper work with the rectangular shape?

The bag has a right-side zipper that runs the length of the 90 inch rectangular shell, allowing full opening or ventilation from that side.
