Digital Gamebook Expansion

The Forest of Doom is a downloadable add-on for Fighting Fantasy Classics on PC. Published by Tin Man Games and activated through Steam, it brings the classic interactive fiction experience to the Gamebook Adventures engine. The title requires the base game to play and includes original artwork by Malcolm Barter.

Solo Narrative Players

This release suits readers who enjoy choice-driven text adventures with adjustable difficulty and a Free Read mode. Map tracking and unlimited bookmarks support multiple playthroughs. Players seeking action-oriented gameplay, multiplayer features or 3D graphics should look elsewhere.

Steam DRM Requirement

Activation depends on a third-party Steam account and ownership of the base Fighting Fantasy Classics title. The product key delivers the Darkwood Forest quest where Skill, Stamina and Luck stats determine survival against the ancient doom threatening Stonebridge village.
